Language, Special Needs, & Multicultural Art
- Children will develop cultural awareness and appreciation of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Children Will participate in rich cultural Holidays and events. We are recognizing the rapidly increasing diversity in our culture. Lisa’s imagination station utilizes the child’s natural ability to learn and familiarize themselves to language, culture, food, sports, clothing, music and folktale. We work with families to support their children. We will adapt a program in the classroom to accommodate children with special needs and language barriers that fit into our facility. We will connect the family to appropriate specialist services and work with those specialist in appropriate services where we are able.
Toilet Training
-Our facility doesn’t do toilet training but we will assist when parents begin training at home. We will try our best to follow your schedule.
Outdoor Play
-Except for extreme weather conditions the children will be playing outside daily. Each day there are at least 60 minutes segments dedicated to active outdoor time.
